Bextra heart attack risks have been raised following the recent recall of Cox-2 Inhibitor. Bextra is another cox-2 inhibitor, in the same drug group as Vioxx. The reason that Vioxx was recalled from the US market in September 2004 was that studies showed that the drug increased the risks of both heart attacks and strokes. Stroke symptoms may include: confusion, disorientation, coordination problems, blurry vision, speech problems, weakness, and numbness along one side of the body.
